The BMR App is built on a simple belief: the people you love deserve your attention, not someone else's. That belief shapes how we handle your information too.

The short version: the relationships you build in BMR are yours. We don't sell your data, we don't show ads, and there's no social feed mining your contacts.

The people you add, the rhythms you set, and your history of staying in touch are stored locally on your device. This is the heart of the app, and it stays with you. We don't have a copy, and it isn't sent to us.

We use PostHog, a product analytics tool, to understand how people use BMR so we can make it better. This includes anonymous usage data (which features get used, how the app performs), basic device information, and an anonymous identifier that lets us group activity into sessions. We also collect crash and error reports through PostHog so we can find and fix bugs. None of this is tied to your name or a personal account, because BMR has no login. It is not used to build a profile of you as a person.

The analytics and crash data we collect is encrypted in transit, and it is automatically deleted within 30 days. We don't keep it longer than we need it to understand how the app is doing.

We don't sell your personal information. We don't serve advertising. We don't track you across other apps or websites. We don't share your relationships or contacts with anyone.

Because the data we collect is anonymous and automatically deleted within 30 days, there is no personal profile to manage or erase. Deleting the app removes the relationship data stored on your device. If you have any question about your data, email us at support@thebmrapp.com and a real person will answer.

We may add features in the future, such as syncing your data across devices, that would change how information is handled. If that happens, we will update this page before those features arrive, so it always reflects what the app actually does.

If we update how we handle your information, we'll update this page and change the date above.
